WHEN COSMETIC PRODUCTS ARE INSPIRED BY AESTHETIC MEDICINE

WHAT IS AESTHETIC MEDICINE?

Aesthetic medicine encompasses all non-invasive medical acts that do not involve surgery or skin incision and aim to improve or correct the appearance of patients.

Less intensive than cosmetic surgery, aesthetic medicine procedures are carried out by health professionals in medical practices and give natural and reversible results.

Different techniques tailored to the problem being treated are used in combination to maximise results. Among the most well-known: filler injections with hyaluronic acid, vitamin-based revitalising injections and acid-based peels…

WRINKLES, LOSS OF VOLUME: HOW CAN THEY BE CORRECTED?

With age and external aggressions such as stress, sun exposure, pollution or fatigue, skin components no longer renew themselves and the skin becomes thinner and less elastic, wrinkles start to appear, and the face loses its volume.

Hyaluronic acid is one of these components. Naturally present in the skin, it plays an essential role in maintaining dermal structure. Over time, however, it diminishes (we lose 6% every 10 years) resulting in lines, loss of volume and skin slackening.

Aesthetic medicine’s solution?

Injectable hyaluronic acid fillers.

Injected in gel form, hyaluronic acid can fill wrinkles (nasolabial folds, cheek lines, chin lines, lines around the mouth, tear troughs, lines around the eyes, etc.), restore volume (cheekbones, temples, etc.), firm the facial contours and make the lips fuller.

Encapsulated hyaluronic acid

The molecular weight of hyaluronic acid used in MEDI-COSMETIQUE products is similar to that used in injections. It has been encapsulated to penetrate the skin at the deepest level and ensure optimum absorption and bioavailability.

FIRMNESS, FINE LINES, HYDRATATION, RADIANCE, EVENNESS

Over time our skin changes and ages… The skin’s deep layers lose their vital elements and the damage caused on the inside can be seen on the outside: dehydration, reduced tonicity, fine lines, dull complexion, uneven skin tone…

Aesthetic medicine’s solution?

Revitalising anti-ageing injections

Conducted in medical practices, they consist of a series of micro-injections using a revitalising solution on the whole face or the zone in need of treatment. The objective is to provide deep rehydration, tighten the pores, firm facial contours, bring back radiance and evenness to the skin tone and erase fine lines. FILORGA’s well-known technique has become a benchmark in the field with NCTF [New Cellular Treatment Factors], with its unique revitalising compound comprising fifty essential skin ingredients including vitamins, amino acids, antioxidants, minerals and coenzymes.

50 encapsulated ingredients

The MEDI-COSMETIQUE range of treatments contains the same ingredients as those used in revitalising injections in an encapsulated version, NCEF [New Cellular Encapsulated Factors], enabling them to penetrate deep into the skin in the form of a cream.

UNEVEN SKIN TEXTURE, PORES, DARK SPOTS

Day after day our skin is confronted by UV rays, stress, cigarette smoke and hormonal disturbances. This causes minor flaws and dark spots. Skin texture changes, the pores dilate.

Aesthetic medicine’s solution?

Acid-based anti-ageing peels

With time the skin’s ability to renew itself slows down. Medical peels are available to remedy this phenomenon by stimulating cellular renewal in a remarkable way. The result is a refined skin texture, tightened pores, and a more radiant complexion.

Peels involve applying an exfoliating agent to the skin, usually composed of concentrated fruit acids. The most common is glycolic acid, but AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids) such as salicylic, lactic, citric and phytic acids are also found. Other molecules can also be used. For example, FILORGA has launched a range based on gluconolactone, a PHA (poly hydroxy acid) just as effective as glycolic acid, but with enhanced tolerance.

Peeling effect active ingredients

MEDI-COSMETIQUE products contain AHAs that are identical to those used by aesthetic doctors including glycolic, salicylic, citric or gluconolactone acid, but also active ingredients with a peeling effect like samphire for optimal tolerance every day.
